TranscribeMe Review

This review is going to be done on the basis of three points.

1. Pay Rate 

Transcribing pays 15 to $22 per audio, which is relatively higher in comparison to other transcription companies like scribe which pays around 12 to $20 per hour, GoTranscript pays around 14 to $20 per audio might be less or more it depends on which country you are living in. But no doubt transcribe me pays better than other companies.

2. Growth Possibilities

TranscribeMe is a good growth of possibilities. You can become a quality analyst or reviewer or you can directly give the quickest step exam. And if you qualify, you can earn $14 per audio, which is double the standard pay rate. I have worked on this website. Payments are prompt and done on a weekly basis. But job steadiness is an issue. Sometimes when I have free time and want to do some work, there won't actually be anything available. You just have to keep going. Pressing the pace and hope to get something. Sometimes that takes a few seconds, but sometimes it can be minutes or hours. This job is not super steady.

I'm telling you honestly, especially when you are doing general transcription. But you can take exams and move up to other positions that give you more work and more money. 

3. Exam 

Earlier, it was quite easy to pass the exam because there were only three audio files of one minute each, and passing the monster around 90%. All you had to do was read the guidelines and then attempt the exam, which could possibly take 15 to 20 minutes to pass the exam. 

But now the test has become quite difficult as TranscribeMe has replaced a one-minute audio file with a four-minute audio file. And passing maths around 98%. So they basically made the exam four times longer and have also narrowed down the margin of error to 2%. From 10% of people, you can make only two attempts to qualify the exam, they have a very strict policy about it. If you fail twice in the exam, you cannot work with them at all.

Many people try to create a second account but you know what? 

They all got blocked because transcribe me probably store information about your IP, MAC address, PayPal account, email address, browser permission, etc.

So if any information in your second account matches the first account, you are going to be blocked from the platform. Many people got an email from TranscribeMe which reads, we have detected a fraudulent activity in your account and your account is going to be blocked.

Here mainly three Reasons Why You can get rejected even after passing the exam.

1. Copy answers from somewhere and pasting it in answer walks

This is the silliest mistake that anyone can make and it can be easily detected by TranscribeMe. To avoid this you have to type all your answers you can keep a copy of answers in front of you, but do not copy-paste your answer.

2. Taking less time

There are three audios of four minutes each, which means 12 minutes of audio transcription. If anybody takes less than 12 minutes means you will have cheated in the exam. How can you transcribe something without listening in a 12-minute transcription should at least take 13 minutes.

3. More than two attempts are not allowed

And if they manage to detect more than two attempts, then your account will be blocked. So if you make a new account, make everything unique about it.

 For example, your name, address, or IP address, MAC address, PayPal account, email address, and browser. Everything should be unique about your new account.

No information in your new account should match with your previous account.
